Brown Sugar Little Smokies

Simple.  Yummy.  Sweet.  Salty 1 package of Little Smokies (beef) 1 package of bacon 2 cups Brown Sugar 1 stick of Butter Cut the Bacon into thirds.  Wrap a piece of Bacon around each smokie and pierce with a toothpick.  Place in glass 9x13 inch dish.  Repeat til pan is full. In medium sauce pan add butter and ONE cup of Dark Brown Sugar.  Melt til smooth.  Pour over Bacon/Smokies.  Then add the final ONE cup of Dark Brown Sugar to the top. Bake on 350 for 30 minutes or until bacon starts to crisp up. Super Super Super YUMMY

Peach Cobbler-Crisp

I have more peaches than I know what to do with!!!  I know I could can them, but I don't have a canner and I certainly don't have the time this week.  So I found a recipe and I tweaked it to my liking.  It is SUPER yummy and my whole family gobbled it up.  I took a pan to Bible Study this morning and there was not even a lick left!!  Here is the recipe. . . ENJOY!!! Peach Cobbler-Crisp 5 large peaches sliced 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups white sugar 1 dash of salt (I used my sea salt grinder and it was three twists) 1 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon 2 sticks of chilled butter or 1 cup of Crisco chilled 1/4 cup COLD water Extra white sugar 1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2.  Layer sliced peaches in a 9 x 13 pan. Then sprinkle with white sugar to your liking. Maple-Pumpkin Pie

1 Cup Sour Cream 3/4 cup Sugar 1/4 cup Brown Sugar 3 Tbls. Maple Syrup 1 1/2 Tbls. Ground Cinnamon 1/2 Tsp.  Allspice 1/2 Tsp.  Ground Nutmeg 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract 1/4 tsp Salt 2 Egg Whites 1 Whole Egg 1 Can (15 ounces) Pumpkin 4 ounces of Cream Cheese 1 Pie crust (recipe follows) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, sugars, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, vanilla extract, salt, egg whites, egg, cream cheese and pumpkin until thoroughly blended and mixture is smooth.  Pour mixture into Pie Shell Bake pie for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.  Cool on wire reack for a bout 1 hour.  Pie for 8 people! Pie Crust (for a one crust pie): 1 cup flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 cup plus 1 Tlbs. Crisco (cold) 1 1/2 Tlbs. water (COLD) Mix flour and salt.  Cut in Crisco.  Sprinkle with COLD water.
